Can camels help the underprivileged? Well that’s exactly what you’re going to hear about in this inspiring interview with Sally Millard and Fr. Bob.
For the past few years we’ve been mentoring Sally & Mick in their camel journey. They have been to multiple camel courses and workshops of ours and their dedication to their camels is an obvious one!
Sally and Mick Millard found themselves in love with camels after acquiring their two firsts camels. What they didn’t know is how their life was about to drastically change.
Now they have 9 camels on their beautiful 220 acre property in the Pyrenees of Victoria, Australia, which in the the plight of their struggle of starting their own camel business (more on that in the interview) they decided to donate their property, time and camels to the Father Bob Maguire Foundation to help the underprivileged get over the HUMP in life.
The best part is that when the Father Bob Maguire Foundation was contacted with this proposal is how well it was received – “where do I sign” says Fr Bob – knowing NOTHING about camels at that time!
Fr. Bob is well known for his outreach work in Melbourne, Australia for the homeless and those ‘down on their luck’. He has worked with criminals, addicts, the young and the old.
So, how can camels help the underprivileged? Well that’s exactly what you’re going to hear about in this inspiring interview with Sally Millard and Fr. Bob.
